It's a pretty piece of good news for Newcastle defender Dan Burn, as he is set to earn a maiden England call-up to the Three Lions of England as part of Thomas Tuchel's first squad.
32-year-old Burn's versatility is key because he can play at left-sided centre half, left back, and has been outstanding for Eddie Howe's team this season.
It's no surprise that he has been noticed by Thomas Tuchel, and is part of the 55-man shortlist from which the German will select his group to which will face Latvia on March 21, and Armenia to be played on March 24. Both matches will be played at the Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Tuchel actually watched Burn during Newcastle's 1-0 win at West Ham on Monday night and despite the player's excellent form, it will still be a shock call-up,
Before the international break, Burn's last match will be Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Liverpool at Wembley.
