Most clubs who are ambitious usually shatter their wage bill, which is what Newcastle United could be set to do in a big to retain Alexander Isak’s services as he continues to gain admirers with his scintillating form because retaining Isak is one of Magpies’ main priorities moving forward.

The gangling Sweden international is the focal point of Newcastle's attack this season, where he scored the decisive second goal in their recent EFL Cup final victory against Liverpool.

The message is so clear now as the club is intent of keeping him at St James’ Park for a very long TIME with a new contract as attention on the 25-year-old is growing rapidly, as Top teams around Europe are monitoring the development because of Isak’s performances and consistent goals.

According to report, Liverpool Manager, Arne Slot wants Isak to sign for Liverpool as he hopes to switch up his attacking options for next season. However, the Anfield Giants aren’t the only top Premier League hoping to sign him in the summer transfer window.

It was confirmed in January that Arsenal have made Isak their top priority this summer as Mikel Arteta wants to sign a proven striker. Meanwhile, Isak is currently under contract at Newcastle for another three years, that's why the Magpies don’t want to risk losing him and are  set to reward his performances with a hefty wage increase now.

To commit his long-term future to the club,  Newcastle are ready to double his current wages so as to persuade him to stay, even though It will be an expensive deal, which would see him earn more than £200,000 per week. However,  the MAGPIES believe he warrants that type of contract, making the Supporters to revel it as; GREAT NEWS because the young Swedish player is an INCREDIBLE ASSET TO THE TEAM, and  want him to stick around.
