Mbappe's Double Delight: UCL Victory Over Athletico followed by France Recall

Still smarting from Real Madrid s victory over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Kylian Mbappe is back

on Didier Deschamps' squad for this international break and the double-header against Luka Modric's Captained Croatia in the Nations League.

For Kylian Mbappe who has scored 48 goals in 86 appearances for France, and is just nine goals behind Olivier Giroud, the country's all-time top scorer, he will  captain the team in these matches, his last appearance for France was against Belgium on September 9 2024.


Also on the list are players like; Mike Maignan from AC Milan and Brice Samba from Lens. Defenders such as Lucas Digne from Aston Villa and Theo Hernandez from AC Milan are also part of the team. The midfield features Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, while forwards include Marcus Thuram from Inter Milan and Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain. LaLiga.  Ousmane Dembele, who is enjoying the best moment of his football career at PSG under Luis Enrique could be used centrally due to his impressive form this year by Deschamps, he has scored 21 goals, more than any other player in Europe's top five leagues in 2025, with Mbappe following at 16 goals and 19-year-old winger,  Desire Doue, who plays for PSG is also on the list for his first  call-up.
